While putting up the skeleton of this post together, I stumbled on some interesting posts that also talked about this same strategy but in another wonderful perspective.
For example, Sales Training America wrote and published a very informative article, titled “The Three C’s of Sales and Excellence“, where they mentioned the fact that for a business to be able to grow their income and achieve their bottom lines, they that business or their sales representative would have to be consistent, competent, and highly concurrent in their approach.
Michael Tracy is another guy who wrote on the same idea but came up with his own twist.
He titled his copy, “The Three C’s of Sales Success“.
And his own 3C’s model states thus:
- Confidence
- Competence
- Cool
I love his style and his approach, but I loved it when he said, “Being cool is knowing you’re a master, but not advertising it.”
Now, that’s what I call selling but not salesy or pushy.

Lastly, the guys at Salesforce also published a great piece of content and titled it, “The 3 C’s of Sales and Marketing Alignment (Smarketing)”
